Wide angle camera lens by Schneider.

For architectural photography and especially for virtual reality, try the new f 5.6 47mm Digitar from Schneider Kreuznach. With the large format Better Light rotating panorama camera you can do a full 360 degree pano in a single photograph. No need to stitch a bunch of (hopefully) overlapping photos together.

Large format digital cameras cover 72 x 90 cm which is close to the coverage of the 47 mm lens. It comes with a Schneider S-Angulon Centerfilter. It helps to have a center filter for any extreme wide angle lens for large format to correct light fall off towards the edges of the field of view.

Schneider Kreuznach loaned this lens to FLAAR. and our photo crew now has this lens in Guatemala. Just as soon as the annual monsoon season is finished and the sun shines again we will post results on this web site. We will also be reviewing the Schneider APO Digitar macro lens, f 5.6 120mm.
