We are starting a long-range review of Hoodman 8GB, 4GB, and 2GB Raw CompactFlash Professional cards. In the beginning we used Lexar and SanDisk CF memory cards for our Nikon DSLR cameras. Over the years at Photokina, PMA, and PhotoEast, we began to learn about Hoodman memory cards from the Hoodman booth at these trade shows. In those years we had a Canon EOS 5D, Nikon D200, and Nikon D100 cameas, as well as the last Kodak digital camera that they offered (the Nikon body). Then we obtained a PhaseOne P25+ on a Hasselblad V-body to test these Hoodman 8GB, 4GB, and 2GB fast professional compact flash CF cards with. Most of the evaluations are done in Guatemala, Central America. We work in remote areas photographing caves, water-lily flowers, and animals. We are content with these memory cards from Hoodman, so moved up to 16 GB by late 2008 and 2009. Now in 2010 we have added a 21 megapixel Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III, so will be testing the newer 32BG compact flash memory cards from Hoodman from Photokina onward. You also can visit the Hoodman booth at Photokina 2010 in Cologne or PhotoEast in New York.
